In this Listening Practice using the last half of Psalm 69, you might hear the call of the Divine Family to turn to them for encouragement. You might notice that this prayer-poem, written 1000 years before Jesus, reminds you of some of Jesus’ story. Or maybe it reminds you of your own story.

Sometimes the act of complaining, the feeling of heartache, can be a cue that our spiritual lives need some tender, loving care. And right in this moment of need and distress, we are invited to come to the Divine Family for encouragement and a safe place to land.

Take a moment to drop us a quick note to let us know what you are noticing as you listen to Psalm 69:19-36. We’d love to hear from you!
